Psalm 104:1-9 NIV

Praise the Lord, O my soul.
O Lord my God, you are very great;
  you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
He wraps himself in light as with a garment;
  he stretches out the heavens like a tent
  and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot
  and rides on the wings of the wind.
He makes winds his messengers,
  flames of fire his servants.
He set the earth on its foundations;
  it can never be moved.
You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
  the waters stood above the mountains.
But at your rebuke the waters fled,
  at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
they flowed over the mountains,
  they went down into the valleys,
  to the place you assigned for them.
You set a boundary they cannot cross;
  never again will they cover the earth.

Midday Prayer

O Lord Jesus Christ,
the Way, the Truth, and the Life:
Do not let us stray from you, the Way,
nor to distrust you, the Truth,
nor to rest in anything other than you, the Life.
Amen.

Matthew 26:26-30 NIV

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Ephesians 5:8-10 NIV

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.
